Innovative therapeutic strategy for B- cell malignancies that combines obinutuzumab and cytokine- induced killer cells
This study presents a therapeutic strategy combining CIK cells with the anti-CD20 antibody obinutuzumab. CIK cells were successfully expanded from patient PBMCs using G-Rex gas-permeable. The combination showed high cytotoxicity against B-cell malignancies in vitro and in vivo.

Pilot study of BKV-specific T cells for immunotherapy of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy
This pilot study evaluated BKV-specific T cells (PyVST) for PML treatment. PyVSTs were generated from related donors and expanded in G-Rex tissue culture containers for 14 days. The therapy was safe, with some patients showing survival and viral load reduction.

Rapid GMP-Compliant Expansion of SARS-CoV-2–Specific T Cells From Convalescent Donors for Use as an Allogeneic Cell Therapy for COVID-19
This study established a method to expand SARS-CoV-2 specific T cells from convalescent donors. Using G-Rex culture vessels, including CS100M, the protocol achieved high yields of central memory T cells within 21 days for potential allogeneic therapy.

Cytometric analysis of T cell phenotype using cytokine profiling for improved manufacturing of an EBV- specific T cell therapy
This study improved EBV-specific T cell manufacturing using GMP reagents and G-Rex. G-Rex100 yielded higher CD8+ T cell percentages and expansion compared to standard flasks. Detailed cytokine profiling characterized the product phenotype.

Engineering CAR- NK cells to secrete IL- 15 sustains their anti- AML functionality but is associated with systemic toxicities
This study engineered CAR-NK cells to secrete IL-15, enhancing their anti-AML activity and persistence. G-Rex plates were utilized for a serial stimulation assay to evaluate NK cell proliferation and cytotoxicity over a 10-day period.

Manufacturing NKG2D CAR-T cells with piggyBac transposon vectors and K562 artificial antigen-presenting cells
This paper details a manufacturing process for NKG2D CAR-T cells using piggyBac vectors and K562 aAPCs. It demonstrates robust expansion and cytotoxicity. While the specific protocol uses T75 flasks, it cites previous work utilizing G-Rex vessels for large-scale T cell expansion.

Acute exercise increases immune responses to SARS CoV-2 in a previously infected man
This study found that exercise mobilizes SARS-CoV-2 specific T-cells and antibodies. To assess T-cell function, SARS-CoV-2 virus-specific T-cells were expanded ex vivo from PBMCs using gas-permeable G-Rex devices for 7 days.
