After purchasing a new Lovo Cell Processing System, Fresenius Kabi recommends following the Learning and Development program steps outlined below. The progression timing through these steps may vary by research or clinical stage/program demands.

Expert Instructors. Hands-on, Dedicated Learning.
Fresenius Kabi Global Learning University offers several levels of training for users and administrators of all levels within the manufacturing process. Operator, Trainer, and Administrator courses are available, and within those segments, learning is offered on a gradual scale of beginner to intermediate and advanced.

| Role | Description |
| Operator | Operators are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Lovo Cell Processing System, including protocol selection, disposable kit installation, procedure set-up and data entry, procedure execution (including any mid-procedure tasks such as sampling), and product and kit removal. Operators are also responsible for handling any unexpected system behavior, such as deviations or alerts during the procedure. |
| Trainer | Trainers are certified to train Operators. |
| Administrator | Administrators are responsible for the same items as the Operator and have access to certain administrator functions, including date/time adjustment and protocol configuration. |
| Subject Matter Expert (SME) | Subject Matter Experts are responsible for understanding protocol settings and how they impact protocol design. SMEs can make protocol modifications based on their knowledge of their site’s applications and specific goals. |
Existing Customer Program
- For Customers who have already purchased one or more Lovo instruments
- Identify one or more lead operators from your facility who will be on-site trainers. Enroll the lead operators in Operator and Training Hands-On courses at Fresenius Kabi.
- If Operator Hands-On training was completed within one year, it is not required to repeat this training unless desired as a refresher.
- After completion of the Trainer course, lead operators can provide training at your facility as new operators are added.
Lovo Learning and Development Courses - FAQ
Q: Who should attend these trainings?
A: Our current training offerings are geared towards process development scientists who interact with Lovo, Lovo operators, and Lovo trainers.
Q: Will I receive a certificate?
A: After completing a course, training participants will receive a certificate that states the course name, date of completion and suggested certificate valid through date.
Q: How often are these trainings offered?
A: The various courses are offered no less than once per quarter.
Q: Will a similar program be offered for Cue® Cell Processing System?
A: Yes, we will be announcing the estimated release date for our Cue learning and development program.
