Technical Account Associate

Position Description

The Technical Account Associate (TAA) is a dynamic and diverse role that will require a broad skill set and a love of attention to detail.  The TAA will work within a highly disciplined team that is dedicated to the success of ScaleReady’s mission, including a Technical Account Manager (TAM) and a Field Application Specialist (FAS).

This role is based at ScaleReady’s headquarters (Saint Paul, MN) with flexibility for part-time remote work following successful onboarding and orientation into the cell therapy field.

This dynamic team will work together to support the following existing products as well as other emerging products and services:

–         G-Rex Cell Culture Bioreactors

–         LOVO Cell Processing System

–         Cue Cell Processing System

–         Bio-Techne GMP Cytokines

–         Bio-Techne Cloudz Cell Activation Reagent

–         Bio-Techne ExCellerate Cell Culture Media

–         Bio-Techne TcBuster for nonviral gene editing

 

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and tenaciously maintaining salesforce.com customer relationship management instances, chronicling customer interactions and events, documenting key details of ScaleReady customers’ manufacturing strategies, and providing reports that demonstrate progress towards mission success.
  • Timely and precise generation of quotes and price letters for our customers.
  • Dedication to successfully completing a wide range of client requests, including those that require expert coordination with the customer, the Partner organization, and ScaleReady subject matter experts. Examples include – resolution of quality issues, responding to requests for confidentiality agreements, and ensuring documents related to supporting customer satisfaction are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Monitoring important customer communication channels and providing ad hoc customer service via email, telephone, or video conferencing platforms under the direction of a Technical Account Manager (TAM).
  • Assisting with the preparation and distribution, both internally and externally, of highly important (and often highly confidential) documents while vigilantly practicing good data security practices.
  • Assisting with the preparation of custom presentations to end users and key decision makers in cell therapy institutions, at all stages in the T cell therapy development and manufacturing lifecycle. At the discretion of the Commercial Director and after rigorous preparation, the TAA may interact directly with customers by presenting the various products/solutions that comprise the ScaleReady cell therapy manufacturing portfolio.
  • Providing assistance to TAM and Field Application Specialist (FAS) counterparts by recognizing, or anticipating, moments of bandwidth limitations and proactively helping to alleviate them.
  • Gaining and maintaining knowledge of ScaleReady’s technology, sales processes, and customer buying journey.
  • Gaining and maintaining knowledge of the basic aspects of the field of T cell therapy and how ScaleReady’s technology is used to advance the field.
  • Potential to attend industry tradeshows and conferences in support of TAM and FAS counterparts when bandwidth is limited; represent ScaleReady professionally to current and future customers.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences is required (preferably with basic knowledge of immunology and/or cell culture).
  • At least two years of customer service experience (individuals with less experience who can demonstrate a passionate interest for both the field and client services will be considered).
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • ScaleReady is an essential business whose employees must maintain compliance with its mandatory vaccine policy as a condition of employment, subject to applicable state and federal law.
